In the Spotlight
The Library now has unlimited access to AccessMedicine resources, and TOXNET has updated its interface for enhanced usability.
The Library has scheduled classes through the fall, and is offering two NN/LM SCR classes that are free and open to all.

Liaison and Outreach Updates
The Library’s summer events include a children’s story time at the Shreve Memorial Library, Wallette Branch, and a new contest inviting participants to guess how many vitamins are in the jar. Also, stay tuned for updates to the Library’s Subject Portals page.

The Library received glowing commendations from the recent SACS and LCME visits in the spring, and has hosted regional meetings for librarians across the state. Other updates include new computers for the computer labs.
Library Faculty and Staff News
Several Library faculty received awards and recognitions, served on a national panel, presented at a national meeting, and published an article in a peer-reviewed journal. The Library also welcomed two new staff members, and celebrated the promotion of one of its faculty members.
