In the Spotlight
The library’s website has been updated to provide online access to two important resources, one from PyschiatryOnline (courtesy of the Psychiatry Department) and another from the National Library of Medicine. For news on these and other resource, read here.
A new workshop has been added to the library classes schedule, and a new session for the ENDNOTE WEB class will be held the second to last week in June.
Liaison and Outreach Updates:
LSU Health Shreveport librarians participated in the Book It to the Library Expo at the Bossier Parish Public Library Central Branch. Furthermore, several librarians have successfully applied for funding to collaborate with experts on projects ranging from disaster preparedness to children’s mental health.
Finally, the library celebrates a successful Art from the Heart exhibit.

Library Faculty and Staff News
Two library programs are featured in professional publications, and library faculty are awarded promotions. Our library’s Director has also begun her term as the MLA President.
While at the MLA conference, the LSU Health Shreveport librarians contributed several presentations and raised money for the Boston Marathon bombing victims.
