In the Spotlight

The library now allows new patrons to register through the library’s website. A member of the pediatric faculty supplies a new, valuable resource to the library’s collection. Also, a resource in the library’s consumer health web portal, healthelinks,  has received accreditation from URAC.

Library FYI

Several new displays in the library foyer celebrate the lives of Drs. Joe and Alice Baker Holoubek, who practiced medicine in Shreveport for more than 40 years. The library also caries a copy of the book, which you can check out the list of recent additions to the library’s collection.

The library has also scheduled the upcoming holiday closures for the fall. Read more to see details on this and the latest compliments received from satisfied patrons.
