Upcoming Classes

On December 14, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., the LSU Health Shreveport Health Sciences Library began conducting monthly orientation sessions on the new MyChart health record. This orientation will be an ongoing class in addition to other classes being offered by the library. The library is also helping to promote a session organized by the Behavioral Educational and Social Research Interest Group (BESRIG).

Liaison and Outreach Updates:

To celebrate the holiday season, the Health Sciences Library recently sponsored a contest to guess the number of peppermints in the apothecary jar at the Library Circulation Desk. The library is also involved in a major digitization project, and will be conducting an outreach event on heart health for preschoolers.
