Liaison and Outreach Updates
The library’s recent outreach and liaison activities included hosting a children storytime, training LSU Shreveport Health alumni in DynaMed and Healthelinks, conducting a client satisfaction survey for the Writing Consultants service, and partnering with the Dept. of Pediatrics for the annual Reach Out and Read book drive.
The library names a winner for it’s “Name that Librarian” contest, and holiday closures are officially posted on the library’s website.
Library Faculty and Staff News
Our library’s faculty received several awards and recognitions for their efforts in expanding and promoting services for the LSU Health Shreveport community and for contributing to the professional knowledge for medical and health sciences librarians.
